Explanation of my state on this photo is to hard to translate to common word so I’ll skip it. Many of you like yo listen the music. All kind of music. And that kind are genres - which aren’t todays topic (maybe some other time). Well, the question is: how to enjoy music when musician make songs faster then we can recognize quality, and again listen that older song you like so much? Answer is in PC! No, it’s not a new speaker system or some audio app. It’s a GAME! “Audiosurf” is the name, and “Wipeout” is a grandfather of it.

As you already now, “Facebook”, “MySpace” and other social networks are one of the things you must have in your life. I ment profile on FB and MS, but if you look greater picture, it’s same thing. So, why do you need to have, for example, FB profile anyway?

They have gone too far with this! What is next? Mind control?

Answer is simple – people will hang out with you if you have a profile and if you check what’s new on regular basis (when you wake up, first check FB). When you flirt with girls, they don’t ask you how old are you (still I don’t understand this) but do you have FB profile so she can check all infos about you and  then she decide will she continue tallking with you or not. ok, I like when girls know a little more about IT techs then usuall but this is not same thing – they learned few steps how to post, comment, delete, play games, find people…. Girls mastered these steps! But if you pass all the FB tests (which criminal are you, which weapon, which food, how good in bed are you, how good kisser are you…) then it is very important that you have FB profile for your pet (real or imaginary) because she got it.

How could I know all this stuff? Another simple answer: first I have FB profile and I listen other people talks about it. My reason to have FB profile is wish to be in contact with people I do not see so often, family and friends from abroad. And that was the start position of the FB. But people were clever and saw the potencial of such online community – free way for knowing others with so little effort (”few clicks away”). Now, you can arange dates, brake up with your girlfriend, arange basketball games…

From this point of view, time when we don’t get up from the bed to live our lifes is near. If you love yourself, you will get up, do some exercises, go out to throw the trash, call your nearest friend and go for the walk. That is the “old” way of hanging around. Maybe you meet someone new along the way.

If you like your “life” on “Facebook” and others community sites, but you still find I’m right with everything I wrote above, go out but bring your camera or phone with camera, capture your hanging, and put it on your profile. Someone will appreciate your uploads – they cannot live without that.

Nokia 2.0

You all know, Nokia invented mobile phone… Or, we get that feeling from time to time, seeing Nokia models popup every few weeks. Yes, Nokia is the best selling mobile phone brand in the world today. So they can play with some stuff that is characteristic for other manufactures (like HTC, HP…).
This can be a prologue to a new Nokia style – touchscreen symbian 5800 Xpress music and future model N97. First model, I’ll get this week to test, and I expect that N97 will be mine around end of April or in first weeks of May.
First immpressions about 5800 is that from behind looks like N73, but it has very big screen with good graphic possibility. But, more stuff when I get my hands on it…

So, I’m back with more intel about Nokia Xpress Music 5800 Tube:

Available in blue colour at Telenor Serbia...

• phone is made for younger population, with very good multimedia platform – you can play almost any media format, open virtualy any web page.
• conectivity is great also: from basic GPRS to HSDPA (dual band) and WiFi, of course.
• In the package you’ll get a spare stylis(very rare on the market) + 8 GB microSDHC card. Superb!
• colours are Black, Red, Blue
• camera is mediocore for todays standards- only 3.2 Mpixels but it will do the job
• In Serbia, Tube is avaliable exclusive at Telenor Serbia and price is no more than in rest of the Europe – with 2 year contract it can be yours for 1/3 of its full price.
• For now, application support is too small and young so I will wait for some time to make my final decisio

While we are waiting N97 to show up, I would suggest to look some of the HTC models (you can use “The Stolen Roadmap”) and maybe you can find something for you.

Xperia X1

8 days past, since I got a Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 to do a test. And I have some interesting things to say about it. My feelings are mixed. On one side, we have a stylish phone, running Windows Mobile 6.1 Proffesional with all good and some of its bad things. On other side, I’m not sure that SE had to go on market with it just to make commpetition to Nokia (5800 Xpress music). They could go with cheeper stuff…

First, we’ll go with some unique stuff that came with it:

• slider mechanism is one of the best I have ever seen and used and for that I give SE a credit, but I taken that back because the buttons on keyboard is very anoying and my fingers are in pain (no more long sms for me)
• screen is VGA 480×800 and have a crystal clear picture, ideal for watching movies and with ambient light sensor to automatically change brightness of screen 
• it’s a very heavy device, compare it to its size (something that would be + and – for many users)
• “X-panel” is very good application, even it’s just a desktop changer (it is only way to start radio app) and give to X1 a much needed style
• and slider mechanism is the best! (I know, I said it before)

In package, you’ll get a aGPS, 3.2 Mpixel camera (standard and wide settings for pics and videos), HSDPA/HSUPA, WiFi, BT 2.0… Standard for todays devices on the market. About WM 6.1 I’ll not write anything because I want to make short review. Ok, it is standard Pro version, with no modification (except “X-panel”).

It is a very good device from SE but in my opinion, they got late with it. On same thing I can give and take credit – and we get a little more then mediocore phone (compare it to the ad and other WM phones). On market you can also find Samsung i900 Omnia and new HTC Touch HD (which is far more exclusive for same money). If they give us a X2 soon, they might be on right course (UIQ is dead, so generic OS isn’t something that is appeling anymore).

Time goes by… so quickly!

 

SonyEricsson Xperia X1

My last post was written on my unpaid vacation. Since then, many things happend but my mind was not in the mood for bloging. But I think the time is right for me to back online.

 

My birthday went great, better then I planned (I hadn’t got much time to plan a party). All people that I love to see, came. And we had a great time. This time I got some very interesting birthday gifts – golf club with golf balls and portable golf hole, black wall clock and some meat! ‘Till that day I had my magic 23. So now I’m old, in my calculation.

Now is november. In october everyone at Telenor talked about new contract that we gonna sign in december. Now I know that my future in “the firm” is bright. I had proposal to work on bigger stuff in Telenor Srbija, and I have accepted that call. In the begining, we will see how it’s gonna work, but I’m sure that I will coop with my new coleagues and their working style.

iPAQ 914c Business messenger

 

 

Now some tech news: my new device is iPAQ 914c Business messenger. Brand new, “qwerty” key, HSDPA, aGPS and all other standard things. My SE w950i went to my very pretty girlfriend, as gift that she deserve. As my new position in “the firm” I got to test SonyEricsson Xperia X1. My plan is to test this fancy thing till end of the week and than I will have my opinion about it. If you like to know, my father liked on first sight and he is NOT a tech geek. Many thoughts after some hours of playing…
